Our deep-sea specimen hatches in its own lab tank. Water goes in, the tank fizzes and turns red, roars rumble inside the shell — and then a 16-inch Megalodon punches its way out with its jaws already snapping.

Features

  • Just add water: a fizzing, color-changing reaction in the tank wakes the shark inside its egg
  • Red glowing eyes and roars from inside the shell build the tension before the breakout
  • A 16-inch Megalodon bursts free with chomping jaws and keeps biting after the hatch
  • Rinse, dry, fold it back in — the hatch resets for endless rehatches and pranks
  • Complete lab set with tank, egg and batteries included, ready the day it arrives

Includes

  • 1 lab tank
  • 1 Megalodon egg with interactive shark
  • Batteries included
Description

The Megalodon is the loudest thing we keep in the lab. Set the egg into the clear tank, pour in water and stand back: the water fizzes, turns red and starts to churn while the shark wakes up inside. Its eyes glow through the shell and the roars get closer.

When it breaks out, the 16-inch shark rears up out of the tank with its jaws snapping. A sensor in the mouth keeps it biting during play, so the hatch turns straight into a game of keep-your-fingers-safe. Afterwards everything rinses clean, dries off and resets, so the next hatch is only a refill away.

Perfect for 5 year old boy

We bought this for my son for his 5 year old birthday. It was a whole family bonding experience watching the shark "hatch". I like that once it comes out you can actually play with the shark like a normal toy. It is great quality and makes the coolest noises. My son thinks this is the best gift of his birthday, it is so fun for a 5 year old boy! I feel like…

Not just for boys! My daughter loves this toy!!

We got this hatching megalodon shark toy in July and am surprised that it is still one of the first toys my 8 year old daughter takes out to show her friends when they come over to play. She thinks it’s so cool (and honestly, so do her friends!!) I think it’s kind of gross and noisy but that’s a big part of the appeal for kids! The shark is way larger than…

It is rehatchable

The primal hatch Megalodon was great for our 5 year old grandson. When it hatched he was super excited over the lights and noise and once he got it out of the shell the megalodon was even better to him because of the movement of it and noises. Great product for the price. We also received it in 2 days which was great.

Exciting repeatable hatching shark toy for kids

I recently ordered this interactive Megalodon hatching toy for my almost six year old daughter, and it provides an entertaining science lab style experience right out of the box. The premise is dramatic and fun because you place the egg into the clear tank, add water to initiate the fizzing reaction, and watch the creature burst out with glowing red eyes…

Awesome, ridiculous, and exactly right for a toddler

This thing is awesome and pointless, which is kind of perfect for a toy. I got it for my grandson for Christmas, but of course we had to play with it first. As an adult, it mostly just made me laugh. No idea who thought up a hatching shark egg toy, because the whole premise is pretty preposterous. But for a toddler? Yeah, this is going to be a hit. Some…
