This is the egg that started our lab. A sandy, cracked-looking shell sits in its straw nest, quiet until you tap it. Keep tapping and the baby Jurassic World T-Rex claws its way out through the membrane — then it is yours to train.

Features

  • A true hatch, not a reveal: repeated taps make the shell split on its own while your T-Rex pushes through real goo
  • More than 100 sounds and reactions — growls, purrs, snaps and hungry calls that change as its personality grows
  • The gray clicker trainer grabs its attention; the toy steak turns snack time into a game
  • Feed it, pet it or startle it: every choice tips your dinosaur toward loyal companion or fierce predator
  • Articulated jaw, head and legs so the hatchling keeps posing and stalking long after the hatch

Includes

  • 1 Primal Hatch egg with interactive baby T-Rex
  • 1 clicker trainer
  • 1 toy steak accessory
Description

The Gen 1 T-Rex is the specimen most families meet first. The box is a little field crate: egg, straw, clicker and a bright red steak. Pull the tabs, set the egg down and start tapping on the top of the shell. It answers with a heartbeat and muffled growls, then rocks, then cracks. Kids lean in, grown-ups pull out phones, and the baby dinosaur shoves its head through the opening.

After the hatch, clear away the shell and the goo — the real game starts with the clicker. Press it and the T-Rex turns toward you. Offer the steak and it feeds. Stroke its head and it calms. Startle it and it snaps back. Play the same way for a while and its personality settles: a friend that follows the clicker, or a predator that roars at it.

Hatching tips

Pull the activation tabs, set the egg in its straw nest and tap the top of the shell again and again. The egg responds with sounds and wobbles, and after a run of taps the shell cracks open and the baby T-Rex emerges.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I got one for my 3 year olds birthday and he loved it! His older sister liked it so much I had to order her one as well because they were fighting over this dinosaur! The instructions were clear and easy to follow, the dinosaur REALLY does hatch and that was my favorite part even as an adult it was fun! It’s not loud when you’re playing with it, decent…

Grandson loves it!

Purchased this for my 4 year old grandson’s birthday. He’s been talking about it and waiting for it for a month since he picked it out. It was the first present he opened. We all thought it was fascinating, watching it hatch cracking through the shell. He hasn’t put it down since or even thought about the other gifts. The dinosaur is adorable, and quite…

Great gift for a little Dino lover !

One of the coolest toys I’ve ever purchased. Bought for my daughter who turned 3 and is very into dinosaurs at the moment. The hatching was so realistic and such a cool experience for her. I will say she got a bit startled at first when the egg started to giggle and the trex head first started poking out but I think that only speaks more to the realism of the toy.

A fantastic gift

I made this purchase for my 4 year old grandchild. He was “blown away” and very excited watching it crack open. Priceless

Perfect gift for dinosaur lovers

Got this for my son’s birthday and it exceeded expectations. The hatching feature makes it extra special and different from a regular dinosaur toy. It’s interactive, well-made, and keeps kids entertained. My son was so excited and still plays with it days later. Setup was simple, and everything worked perfectly right out of the box. Great gift idea if…

Great for any dino lover!

This was a blast to do with my 5 year old son for his birthday!!! I will warn anyone with sensory issues the "clicker" is annoying and can illicit a not great reaction when over stimulated. This happened to all of the ages (5 to 37 years old) in my house and we had to hide the clicker.
