What does the Primal Hatch do?
A Primal Hatch egg really hatches. You tap, water or inject it, the shell cracks open on its own and an interactive prehistoric creature comes out — a Jurassic World T-Rex, a Megalodon shark or a mystery hybrid dino.
Does Primal Hatch only hatch once?
The Jurassic World T-Rex shell hatches once, then the fun moves to training. The Megalodon can be rinsed, dried and reset to hatch again and again.
How do you do the Primal Hatch egg?
For the T-Rex, pull the tabs and tap the top of the egg repeatedly until it cracks. For the Megalodon, put the egg in the tank and add water. For Hybrid Hatchers, scan the egg, fill the syringe with water and inject it.
What age is Primal Hatch for?
All of our hatching eggs are made for kids aged 5 and up.
How do you start the Primal Hatch T-Rex hatch?
Pull the activation tabs, set the egg in its straw nest and tap the top of the shell again and again. The egg responds with sounds and wobbles, and after a run of taps the shell cracks open and the baby T-Rex emerges.
Will my T-Rex be friendly or fierce?
That depends on how you play. Feeding and petting with the clicker lean it toward a friendly companion; startling and teasing lean it toward a fierce predator. The personality keeps shifting as you play.
Is Primal Hatch Jurassic World?
Yes. Our T-Rex eggs are official Jurassic World specimens — the box, the dinosaur and the roars are all from that world.
What age is the T-Rex for?
We built it for kids aged 5 and up. Younger dinosaur fans love watching the hatch with a grown-up close by.
Can the Primal Hatch Megalodon hatch more than once?
Yes. Rinse and dry the tank and egg, fold the shark back inside and close the shell. The hatch can be repeated again and again.
How big is the Megalodon?
The shark measures about 16 inches long once it bursts out of the egg.
Does the Megalodon need batteries?
Batteries come included in the set, so the first hatch can happen the day it arrives.
What age is the Megalodon for?
Ages 5 and up — and plenty of grown-ups who say they bought it for the kids.
How do Hybrid Hatchers eggs hatch?
Scan the egg, fill the syringe with water, then inject it into the egg. The water mixes the Primal DNA and the egg cracks open to reveal a hybrid dino figure.
How many Hybrid Hatchers are there to collect?
There are more than 10 different hybrids, each a mix of a modern animal and a dinosaur.
How big is a Hybrid Hatchers dino?
Each hybrid figure stands about 3 inches tall.
Can I choose which hybrid I get?
No — every egg is a mystery until you scan and hatch it. That is half the fun of building the collection.
