Inside a Hybrid Hatchers egg

Hybrid Hatchers is the pocket-size corner of our lab. Each egg comes with a scanner card and a syringe. Hold the scanner over the egg to decode which hybrid is waiting, fill the syringe with water to mix the DNA, then inject it into the shell to start the hatch. Cracks spread across the surface and a 3-inch hybrid dino figure breaks free.

There are more than 10 hybrids to collect, from Tigersaurs to Spinodiles — tiger stripes on a raptor frame, crocodile jaws on a spinosaur. Every one is posable and built for pretend play, and they line up neatly next to the bigger T-Rex and Megalodon specimens.

At a pocket-money price, Hybrid Hatchers is the egg we hand to first-time hatchers, party bag fillers and collectors chasing the full set. Styles may vary, which is the whole point: you never know which species you are about to make.

Ages and collecting

Hybrid Hatchers are for kids ages 5 and up. Each egg lets kids create a new collection piece, and with more than 10 hybrids there is always one more dino to hatch.
